Most small business ad budgets quietly go to waste. Mine is spent making your phone ring.

What wasted ad spend actually looks like

$3,800

spent with an agency

164

phantom “conversions”

14

real phone calls

I recently tore down a Google Ads account that had spent $3,800 with a professional agency. On paper, the campaigns were "converting." Here's what the audit actually found: 164 of the reported conversions were nothing but page loads. Someone visiting the contact page counted as a win, whether they ever reached out or not. The real number of phone calls generated? Fourteen.

That's the dirty secret of a lot of small business ad management: the reports look great because the reports are measuring the wrong thing. Broad targeting burns budget on searches that were never going to buy. Ads point at pages that don't convert. And the one number that matters, how often a real customer actually calls, never appears anywhere.

Every campaign I build starts from the opposite end: real call tracking, tight keyword targeting, ads that only show in the cities you actually serve, and landing pages built to turn the click into a phone call. If a report I send you says you got a lead, it means your phone rang.

How I run your campaign

Discovery call. We talk about your business and what a good month looks like. I tell you honestly whether Google Ads makes sense for you.

Keyword and competitor research. I find what your customers actually type when they're ready to buy, and what your competitors are doing about it.

Campaign build. Tight keywords, the right match types, your service area only, and ads written to attract buyers, not browsers.

Real conversion tracking. Phone calls and form fills, measured properly, so we both know what's working and what needs to be improved.

Ongoing management. I watch the search data, cut what wastes money, and feed what brings calls. You get weekly reports in plain English.

What does Google Ads management cost?

Two honest answers. First, my management fee depends on the size and complexity of your campaign, and I quote it upfront on our first call, no contracts, no surprises, and you always own your own ad account. Second, and more important, is your ad budget itself, and I don't believe in one-size-fits-all numbers there.

On the discovery call, I work out the right spend for your business specifically: what your customers are worth, what clicks cost in your industry and your cities, and how many calls a month you can actually handle. A plumber in Sanford and a med spa in Lake Mary need very different budgets, and pretending otherwise is how money gets wasted. You'll leave the call knowing the number that makes sense for you, and if that number is "zero for now," I'll tell you that too.

I'm Anthony DePina. I run Google Ads for Central Florida businesses, including my own, with my own money, in this same market. When you call about your campaign, you're talking to the person who manages it. No account managers, no hand-offs.

Thinking About Running Your Own Ads?

Honest answer: you can, and Google makes it feel easy on purpose. The interface will suggest keywords, recommend budgets, and cheerfully offer to "optimize" everything for you. What it won't mention is that most of those suggestions are built to spend your money faster, not smarter. Broad keywords that match everything, budget bumps, automated settings that quietly widen who sees your ads: it's a machine designed for your maximum spend, and it's very good at its job.

If you've got the time to learn what to turn off, DIY can work. If you'd rather spend that time running your business while someone who fights that machine daily runs your ads, call me. Ten minutes, and I'll tell you honestly which side of that line your business is on.
